ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) is proud to announce it's latest gaming laptop offerings with 13th-gen Intel Processors and Next-Gen GPUs.
Built with gamers and creators in mind, the Zephyrus M16 has been redesigned from the ground up with an even more refined feel and upgraded performance. The new chassis design allows for a larger, full-width heatsink into the machine paired with ROG’s Tri-Fan Technology, which routes air from three fans through precisely calculated cutouts toward the heatsink for more efficient cooling. This allows the 2023 Zephyrus M16 to reach 20W higher than last year’s model, allowing ROG to push the top-tier Intel® Core i9-13900H processor and NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 4090 Laptop GPU as far as possible.
The Zephyrus M16 is graced with Nebula HDR display powered by a Mini LED backlight with individual zones that can brighten and dim individually for stunning contrast. This year’s Zephyrus M16 sports ROG’s latest Nebula HDR display with 1,024 dimming zones, up to 1100 nits of peak brightness, and QHD resolution at a 240Hz refresh rate offering incredible display to serious gamers out there.
ROG pushed the craftsmanship to new heights on this year’s M16 as well, with a new mirror-polishing technique created with over ten steps of grinding on the sidewalls for a luxurious finish. Combined with the new Off Black color, which uses an exclusive nano-sandblasting finish for fingerprint resistance, the 2023 Zephyrus M16 is the height of boutique quality.
Lastly, the Zephyrus M16 is the second laptop ever to feature ROG’s iconic AniMe Matrix™ Display. The larger, 16-inch canvas of the M16 allows for larger, more beautiful animations than ever, shining through thousands of precision-milled holes in the lid of the chassis for a customizable one-of-a-kind look.
As ROG’s highest-performing laptops, the Strix series is powered by the latest and greatest chips from Intel® and NVIDIA®. The Strix SCAR 18 features an Intel® Core™ i9-13980HX processor with 24 cores and 32 threads, alongside an NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 4090 Laptop GPU capable of up to 175 watts, for a total system power of 240W. A MUX Switch with NVIDIA Advanced Optimus intelligently ensures optimal frame rates when plugged in, and better battery life when untethered, with no manual intervention needed. The Strix G16 and Strix G18 on the other hand are powered by up to an Intel® Core™ i9-13980HX CPU and an NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 4070 Laptop GPU with up to 140W of power using Dynamic Boost and the same MUX Switch with Advanced Optimus.
The redesigned 16- and 18-inch Strix laptops allow for an all-new Intelligent Cooling suite, featuring ROG’s Tri-Fan Technology first introduced on the 2022 Flow X16. In addition, we’ve taken the full width heatsink from the Flow X16 and enlarged it for the 2023 Strix SCAR 18, Strix G16, and Strix G18. This larger heatsink increases surface area for heat dissipation by up to 92.23% compared with 2022 models, and paired with our new full-surround vents, ensures next-level airflow for the powerful components inside. Combined with Conductonaut Extreme liquid metal on both the CPU and GPU with 7 heat pipes, ROG's new solution allows for higher-than-ever TGPs for this year’s next-gen CPUs and GPUs.
2023’s new 18-inch Strix SCAR model is available with up to WQXGA 240Hz displays while Strix 16 and 18 machines offer up to WUXGA 165Hz display giving you the upper hand when gaming against your opponents.
